We are now hiring for a Casual Test Administrator to join our team at Pearson Professional Centres at 31 Macquarie Street, Parramatta NSW 2150.
The ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork and is available to work a variety of shifts across weekdays and weekends. Operating hours are between 7am and 11pm. Pay rate is $38.89.
Candidate must be open to flexible shifts in the morning and evening. This is strictly a casual position.
Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a secure exam delivery environment.
- Complying with all testing procedures and strictly adhering to company policies.
- Checking and verifying candidates’ identification against test registration and assisting them with set‑up.
- Explaining exam procedures and proctoring / invigilating candidates during testing.
- Troubleshooting with internal departments to resolve technical issues.
- Escalating any policy breaches immediately to relevant business personnel.
- Carrying out light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate’s exam.
- Performing other ad‑hoc duties as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 1 year customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly desirable.
- Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Must be able to sit for long periods and lift up to 20lbs independently.
- Must be comfortable in a quiet testing workplace, able to hear soft voices and see details from a distance.
