Allied Health Receptionist - Podiatry Clinic (Part-Time)

We are looking for a warm, organised and proactive Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join our growing podiatry clinic in Chelsea Heights, Melbourne's south-east.

This position is open to part time applicants with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a busy healthcare environment and take pride in keeping things running smoothly, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and efficient clinic experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting and checking in patients
- Managing phone calls and appointment bookings
- Processing payments and HICAPS, Medicare, DVA and NDIS claims
- Managing emails and patient enquiries
- Liaising with referrers, case managers and support coordinators
- Supporting podiatrists with administrative and clinical assistance tasks
- Assisting with instrument sterilisation
- Monitoring, ordering and stocktaking clinical and reception supplies
- Maintaining a clean,



organised and welcoming clinic environment

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has prior reception experience in podiatry, allied health or dental clinic (highly regarded, but not essential)
- Is confident with Medicare, DVA and NDIS billing processes
- Has experience using HICAPS and Tyro payment systems
- Has strong computer skills and experience with practice management software (Cliniko experience is highly regarded)
- Has experience with instrument sterilisation (a strong advantage)
- Communicates professionally and confidently
- Is highly organised and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Is reliable, proactive and enjoys working as part of a supportive team
