SAFEMASTER is looking for an enthusiastic person looking to start a career in the occupation health and safety industry. As a trainee/junior, you will receive on‑job training with the intent of becoming a qualified height safety inspector.
Responsibilities
- Conduct roof access and height safety inspections.
- Produce electronic inspection/audit reports and certification documentation.
- Learn all relevant regulations, codes, and Australian Standards.
- Become familiar with all industry products, such as anchor points,
static lines, rigid rail systems, roof hatches, fixed ladders, walkway systems, guardrail and all other height safety equipment, including PPE.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Construction industry white card (advantageous, not essential).
- Working at heights certificate (advantageous, not essential).
- EWP/Boom lift certificate (advantageous, not essential).
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel (advantageous, not essential).
