About The Role
Due to continued growth and recent changes within the team, an opportunity has become available for a Senior Estimator to join a high‑performing pre‑construction division. Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a key role in preparing detailed and competitive HVAC/mechanical estimates across major projects throughout Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate HVAC/mechanical estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
- Performing detailed take‑offs and cost planning
- Coordinating supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Supporting the delivery of large‑scale commercial, healthcare, and data centre projects
- Managing multiple tenders simultaneously within strict deadlinesUtilising Bluebeam and Excel extensively throughout the estimating process
- Assisting with value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout the tender lifecycle
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within HVAC/Mechanical Services contracting
- Strong Tier 1 or major project exposure
- Experience delivering estimates across hospitals, data centres, or major commercial developments
- Exposure to projects valued up to $80M
- Advanced Bluebeam capability
- Strong Excel and cost analysis skills
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Stable employment history within the mechanical services industry
