About the Role

Senior Manager – Compliance Framework and Policies , you will play a pivotal role in strengthening BOQ’s compliance risk management capability and ensuring the effective implementation of a robust Compliance Risk Management Framework (CRMF) across the Group. Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business, you will support the design, uplift and embedment of compliance frameworks, policies, processes and initiatives that enable the proactive identification, management and reporting of key compliance and regulatory risks. This role is central to supporting BOQ in meeting its regulatory obligations and managing critical compliance risk themes, including Conflicts of Interest, Anti‑Bribery and Corruption, Market Abuse, and broader regulatory compliance requirements. You will drive the ongoing maturity of the CRMF by overseeing key framework components such as obligations management, compliance training, control libraries, policy governance and monitoring activities, while ensuring alignment to the Three Lines of Defence model. Working as a trusted advisor within Line 2 Compliance, you will provide expert guidance to senior leaders on complex compliance and conduct risk matters, champion a strong and proactive risk culture, and build organisational capability through education and engagement. You will also collaborate closely with Risk, Legal, Regulatory Affairs and business stakeholders to embed compliance requirements into business processes and decision‑making, ensuring compliance risks are effectively managed across the Group.

About You





We are looking for an experienced compliance professional with a robust background in financial services, bringing extensive expertise in compliance risk management frameworks, policy governance, obligations management and control oversight. You have a proven ability to drive compliance initiatives and framework uplift activities, balancing regulatory requirements with practical business outcomes while maintaining a customer‑first mindset. You are a confident and trusted advisor who builds strong relationships across all levels of an organisation, from operational teams through to senior leaders and governance forums. With strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, you are comfortable navigating complex risk matters and communicating them clearly and succinctly to diverse stakeholders. You will bring experience working with GRC platforms and compliance management tools, along with a passion for fostering a strong risk culture.
