Position

Swimming Pool Officer – Temporary, Full‑time – Hurstville, Current South Wales.

Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of swimming pools to ensure adherence to the Swimming Pools Act 1992, associated Regulations, and standards.
Enforce legislative requirements and deliver certification and compliance services.
Implement Council’s Swimming Pool Inspection Program.
Promote awareness and provide skilled advice on swimming pool safety standards among residents and stakeholders.

What We Offer
Temporary, Full‑Time – 70 hours per fortnight (12‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension)
Salary from $97,312.49–$112,750.82 per annum plus 12% superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate)

Qualifications
At least 12 months experience as a Building Surveyor/Swimming Pool Inspector or similar role.
Recognised tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying and/or Swimming Pool Certification.
A thorough understanding of the Swimming Pools Act 1992.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
Strong problem‑solving, conflict‑resolution and negotiation skills.
Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
