The Role
Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports, including balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow
Management of quarterly reports, including analysis, review and commentary
Maintenance of internal controls, including reconciliations and general ledger entries
Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Analysis and reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts
Liaise and support operations, customers and key stakeholders
Report on cash flow and inventory management
Maintenance of fixed asset register
Review and analysis of departmental KPIs
Contribute to improving the company's financial reporting systems and processes
Ad hoc projects and analysis as required
Requirements:
Qualified CA/CPA/CIMA
Have highly developed analytical skills with the ability to extract data from financial systems and provide insights, recommendations and commentary
Valuable people skills, enjoy building long-term relationships with stakeholders
Previous experience working in the mining services sector will be highly regarded
Proven time management skills, coupled with the ability to work to strict deadlines
