ConsultANZ is partnering with a leading civil contractor known for delivering large-scale transport and infrastructure projects across Current Zealand. With a strong pipeline of upcoming roading projects, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to play a key role in the successful delivery of works across multiple locations.
Main Responsibilities
Manage all contractual and commercial aspects of major roading projects
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting
Lead project teams and subcontractors to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
Engage with clients, consultants, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle
Programme planning, scheduling, and risk management
Ensure compliance with NZS 3910 and relevant industry standards
Uphold health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline)
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role on large-scale roading or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of NZS 3910
Strong commercial and contractual management skills
Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities
Ability to lead teams and collaborate with clients and partners
Experience with earthworks, pavement construction, and road alignment projects is highly desirable
