About the Role: We have a rewarding opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified Food Safety Specialist, Trainer and Auditor to join our growing team.
This is a varied and high-impact role reporting to the General Manager.
The primary role of this position is to consult, conduct Food Safety and Quality audits, and deliver training to drive high levels of compliance to the food standards code, ISO and other relevant standards.
The key responsibilities of this role are: Write up HACCP Plans, quality manuals for HACCP, GFSI (SQF, BRCGS, FSSC ***** and Freshcare) and ISO ****, ***** and *****.
Deliver training across a large range of food safety, HACCP, ISO, quality and ethical based topics and standards.
Perform HACCP Certification, Supplier and Internal Audits.
About you: You are an driven professional with an exceptional eye for detail and high-level communication skills.
You will be a pivotal part of our team, with a passion and commitment to the mission and the services QMS Audits provides.
Qualifications and Experience: Qualifications in Biological or Food Science or similar science-based discipline.
Current training and assessment qualifications (advantageous, but not essential).
Minimum 7 years' experience in Food Safety Compliance or quality role.
Demonstrated experience in managing GFSI programs,
including conducting internal audits and managing external audits.
Strong understanding of the Food Standards Code and GFSI Standards.
Ability to identify gaps and make practical recommendations for continuous improvement.
A proactive and positive approach to resolving queries and problems.
Ability to prioritise, organise and complete work within established deadlines, and maintain a consistent level of professionalism.
