We are seeking dedicated and responsible Pool Attendants to join our team at Kyogle Council for the ********* pool season.Kyogle Council operates three Public Swimming Pool facilities in Kyogle, Bonalbo and Woodenbong.

We take pride in serving our community by maintaining and enhancing essential infrastructure.Join us as a Pool Attendant to contribute to the ongoing success of our operations.Position OverviewThe purpose of the Pool Attendant position is to diligently oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our swimming pools, ensuring that they meet and exceed the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
By maintaining water quality, enforcing safety protocols, and providing impeccable customer service, you will play an integral role in creating a positive and secure workplace for patrons of all ages.Key Responsibilities:Direct and control pool users by means of regular patrolsUndertake water quality testing and maintenance to ensure correct water quality and chemical levels in accordance with NSW Department of Health Standards.Undertake regular vacuuming and cleaning of pools.Ensure the cleaning of toilets,
change rooms and other facilities and ensure that bins and litter is collected dailyUndertake general maintenance and labouring tasks associated with maintenance of poolEnsure that all Council and legislative reporting procedures are implemented including water quality, maintenance requirements, incident / hazard notifications etc.Ensure correct entry and canteen fees are charged and that funds are banked and recorded accuratelyIssue of season / daily tickets in accordance with Council's established fees and charges schedule.Ensure facility is correctly secured outside of normal operating hoursPerform other work duties within capabilities as allocated from time to time by OverseerValid Class C Driver's License.Pool Lifeguard Certificate or willing to obtain.Demonstrated experience in pool complex operations, including maintenance, facility management, and customer service.Senior First Aid Certificate and Royal Life Saving Society Bronze Medallion or willing to obtain.Experience in record-keeping and cash handling.Proficiency in computer literacy.Understanding of chemical management requirements for pool operations.Familiarity with work health and safety principles.Join Our Team:If you have a passion for maintaining safe and enjoyable swimming pool facilities and meet the essential criteria, we encourage you to apply.
