Urgent: Trainer and Assessor CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services

Australian College of Community and Health Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Trainer and Assessor to deliver the CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services on a contract basis. This is an urgent recruitment, and we are looking for someone who can commence as soon as possible.

As a Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vocational education and training to students pursuing qualifications in community services. This role is pivotal in shaping the next generation of community and health services professionals. You will work from our Parramatta NSW location, delivering engaging and outcomes-focused training that meets industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role offers flexibility in how you structure your delivery, combining classroom instruction, practical assessments, and support for student learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions for the CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services to diverse cohorts of students
- Design, develop and update course materials, lesson plans and learning resources that reflect current industry practices and compliance requirements
- Assess student competency against the training package requirements using a range of assessment methods including observation, practical demonstrations, written work and portfolio-based evidence
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress and areas for development
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student attendance, progression and assessment outcomes in line with regulatory requirements
- Support students in understanding and applying community services principles, ethical practices and legal frameworks




- Liaise with employers and industry partners to ensure training remains current, relevant and aligned with workplace expectations
- Participate in quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives within the training programme
- Maintain professional development in vocational education practices and community services sector knowledge
- Comply with all regulatory requirements, including ASQA standards and state-based training obligations

Mandatory: at least two years of experience delivering CHC52015, CHC52021, CHC52025 or related community services qualifications in a training context
