Prospero Teaching are actively seeking an Early Learning Educator to join an Early Learning Centre within Sydney’s, CBD!

This is an international school, many of the students speak an additional language and as a result we are seeking an Early Learning Educator who speaks Italian.

ABOUT THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR:

Prospero Teaching are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join a dynamic Early Learning Centre. This full time position offers the exciting opportunity to work with children aged 3-5 years, guiding them as they explore and discover their world while learning a second language.

As part of the schools dedicated team, you will promote the joy of learning and support the foundations of lifelong learning.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborate with a strong team of Early Childhood Teachers and Educators
- Foster a love of learning through play-based, child-centered experiences
- Integrate Italian language into the everyday curriculum
- Support individual growth and development in a nurturing environment




- Ensure a high standard of care and well-being for all children

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

- ACECQA recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Education and Care
- Current ACECQA-approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma certifications (or be willing to obtain)
- Current ACECQA-approved Child Protection training (or be willing to obtain)
- Fluency in Italian and a strong understanding of Italian culture
- Availability to work between 7:00am - 6:00pm (with regular scheduled shifts)
- Knowledge of current early education and care legislation (EYLF and NQS)
- A strengths-based approach to working with children and families
- Strong ICT skills for daily administrative tasks
