Working as a photo booth attendant is a fantastic and unique experience compared to other casual roles.
This job stays fresh and exciting, where you can experience a new venue every day, meet new people, and share in the joy they experience at their event.
Open Booths is seeking casual staff for weddings, corporate events, and milestone celebrations, primarily on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, as well as some weekday events.
This job is best suited for those who live within 20 or 30 minutes of the Sydney CBD, unless you're willing to commute.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Picking up the photo booth equipment at one of our hubs
- Transporting the equipment to the venue in your own vehicle
- Loading in and setting up the photo booth
- Testing and monitoring the photo booth to ensure quality
- Assisting attendees with using the photo booth
- Helping attendees with poses and photo ideas
- Reprinting photos when requested
- Assisting with technical difficulties
- Capturing quality content at the event for our social media and marketing
- Packing up the equipment in the correct way
- Making sure the photo booth area is left clean
- Returning the photo booth equipment to the hub
- Preparing the equipment for the next staff member to pick up for their event
- Completing equipment and operations checklists and questionnaires
- Closely following instructions

- Be prepared to commute to our equipment hub in the Inner West and then drive to events
Details:
Dress code: Professional. The attire required is job-dependent (usually plain black pants, a plain black button-up shirt, and dress shoes, or formal wear). No sneakers, unless instructed otherwise.
Training:
Training is provided remotely, in conducted training sessions and on-the-job training.
Personality:
The candidate must be enthusiastic and outgoing, love interacting with people, and uphold our standards of professionalism. The candidate must also be an adept communicator,
willing to learn new skills, and able to handle unexpected, real-world challenges while remaining cool, calm, and collected. The candidate must also be prepared to travel throughout Sydney and possibly beyond.
Job Type:
Casual.
Schedule:
Predominantly evening work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Some weekday events.
Experience:
No experience necessary.
Experience in events, customer service, and photography, including working with cameras and lighting equipment, is preferred but not essential.
Licence and Vehicle:
Must have a driver's licence and a vehicle.
Heavy Lifting:
The job will involve some heavy lifting, and attendants are to assess lifts on a case-by-case basis, ask for assistance if needed, and lift according to training recommendations and their own physical abilities and limitations.
Start Date:
Immediately.
