About the Role
We are seeking experiencedCompanion Care Workersto support clients across the Sutherland Shire region.
This role focuses primarily on companionship, social support and light domestic assistance.
- Typical visits range from2-6 hours
- Mix ofweekday shifts,
with some weekend availability preferred
- Adaptable casual opportunities
- Must be living locally to the Sutherland Shire area
In This Role, You Will:
- Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement
- Assist with light domestic duties
- Support clients with shopping and appointments
- Encourage participation in social and community activities
- Monitor wellbeing and report updates to the care team
- Help clients maintain independence and confidence at home
Must Haves
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current National Police Check
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Authorised to work in Australia
- Living locally to the Sutherland Shire area
Nice to Haves
- Experience in Community Aged Care and/or Disability Support
- Availability for morning and mid-morning weekday shifts
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
