AIRCRAFT CABIN CLEANERS – NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – PAID TRAINING

We are recruiting Aircraft Cabin Cleaners for ongoing casual opportunities with aviation employers at Brisbane Airport.
About the Role
Aircraft Cabin Cleaners prepare and clean aircraft cabins safely and efficiently between flights.
This is a rapid-paced and physically demanding role. You must work quickly, follow strict safety procedures and meet airline presentation standards within tight aircraft turnaround times.
Key Duties
- Clean and restock aircraft cabins
- Clean passenger seats, tray tables, windows and seat-back pockets
- Clean aircraft galleys, lavatories and toilets
- Occasionally clean bodily fluids using the required PPE and safety procedures
- Remove rubbish from aircraft
- Vacuum and clean aircraft floors
- Replenish cabin supplies
- Move between aircraft and operational work areas
- Complete other aircraft presentation duties as required
Physical Requirements
- Repeated bending, reaching, crouching and squatting
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Lots of walking from plane to plane across the tarmac
- Working quickly in narrow aircraft aisles and confined spaces
- Climbing up and down aircraft stairs while carrying equipment and supplies weighing up to 15kg
- Cleaning underneath and between aircraft seats
- Cleaning aircraft toilets and occasionally handling bodily fluids while wearing the required PPE
- Working inside aircraft in hot or cold conditions
- Performing repetitive duties within strict aircraft turnaround times
Requirements
- Have full legal working rights in Australia
- Be reliable, punctual and committed to attending all rostered shifts
- Be available across a seven-day rotating roster
- Be available to work weekends and public holidays
- Be available for early-morning, afternoon and overnight shifts
- Have reliable transport to and from Brisbane Airport
- Be able to meet all physical requirements of the role
- Follow all airport, airline, safety and security procedures
- Pass all required background, security, medical, drug and alcohol checks
Transport and Staff Parking
- Staff may park at the nearest train station and cycle to the Airport.
- Those who use the Brisbane Airport Staff Car Park must pay the current parking fee of $84.52 per month, deducted from their fortnightly pay.
- The staff car park operates shuttle buses 24 hours a day, seven days a week to Brisbane Domestic Airport.
- Staff must then walk from the domestic terminal area to the warehouse.
- Applicants are responsible for ensuring they arrive on time for every rostered shift, including shifts starting or finishing when public transport is limited.
