General Practice Registered Nurse, Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, Nurse Immuniser.

Boolaroo Medical Practice is seeking a vibrant and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive nursing team. This is a part-time position (3 days per week), starting ASAP. We are open Monday to Friday and closed on weekends and public holidays, offering great work-life balance.

We are looking for someone who is productive, reliable, hardworking and committed to delivering exceptional patient care. General practice nursing experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be trained and supported in all aspects of GP nursing, including:

- Childhood immunisations
- Travel vaccinations
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccination programs
- Assisting with procedures
- Emergency care
- Cold chain management
- Stock control
- ECG and Spirometry
- Chaperone duties
- Maintaining treatment room and clinical standards
- Wound management




- Care plans (CDM)
- Health assessments
- Assisting doctors with minor procedures
- Other tasks associated with general practice nursing

Skills & Experience

- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- High level of autonomy and initiative
- Strong organisational and time-management abilitiesBest Practice software experience (desirable)
- Understanding of Chronic Disease Management Plans, Asthma and Diabetes Cycle of Care, and MBS item optimisation (desirable)
