We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team within a leading private wealth firm. This is a full-timepermanent position, offering a hybrid working setting and strong opportunities for professional development and career growth.
About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with managers and senior leadership, supporting a diverse portfolio of business, tax, and financial engagements. You will prepare and review financial statements and tax returns, assist with complex client matters, and provide guidance to junior team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and delegate work to junior accountants
- Assist with business performance, structuring, wealth, and asset protection matters
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management reports
- Support the implementation of tax planning strategies
- Experience with complex business structures and engagements
- Proven ability to supervise and delegate work effectively
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Understanding of interest rate swaps and derivative swaps is advantageous
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce
- CA or CPA qualified, or studying towards qualification
- 3-5 years’ experience in Australian public practice - Ideally working in HNW client accounting
- Exposure to large business structures and complex engagements
- Hybrid working environment (office + work-from-home)
