Marketing and Communication Trainer and Assessor

Rosehill College is seeking an experienced Marketing and Communication Trainer and Assessor to support delivery and assessment across our BSB Marketing and Communication qualifications.

The successful applicant may support one or more of the following qualifications, depending on their qualifications, vocational competency, industry currency, and availability:

BSB40820 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication

BSB50620 Diploma of Marketing and Communication

BSB60520 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication

About the Role

You will deliver engaging training sessions, support students in developing practical marketing and communication skills, and assess student work in line with RTO requirements. The role may include classroom delivery, tutorial support, online learning support, assessment marking, student feedback, and participation in validation or assessment review activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver training in Marketing and Communication units across BSB qualifications
- Assess student submissions and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Support students with practical marketing, communication, consumer behaviour, digital marketing, market research, advertising,



and campaign planning tasks
- Maintain current training and assessment records as required
- Participate in assessment validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities
- Apply Rosehill College policies, training package requirements, and Standards for RTOs expectations

Selection Criteria

Applicants should have:

- Current TAE qualification, such as TAE40116, TAE40122, or an accepted equivalent
- Relevant vocational qualifications and/or demonstrated industry experience in marketing and communication
- Ability to demonstrate vocational competency and current industry currency for the units delivered
- Experience delivering and assessing BSB Marketing and Communication qualifications is preferred
- Robust communication, organisation, and student-support skills
- Familiarity with RTO compliance, assessment tools, validation, and student feedback requirements

Highly Regarded Experience

- management, or campaign management experience
- Previous teaching or assessment experience with international students
- Experience using aXcelerate or similar student management / LMS systems
