Opportunity to join a leading consultancy and be part of a crucial Management role! Ideally you will be an experienced Business Advisory Manager who will take ownership of a well-established client portfolio and help shape the next chapter of the firm's growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining high-value advisory work with client portfolio management and team development. You will work closely with SMEs and family business groups, delivering meaningful strategic advice and compliance.
Responsibilities
Managing and growing a portfolio of SME and family group clients
Diagnosing business challenges and designing practical, structured solutions
Building and implementing structures across ownership, tax, and operations that support long-term client goals
Delivering business advisory services including Virtual CFO, Management Reporting, Business Valuations, and Tax Restructuring
Monitor lodgment obligations and proactively identify outstanding compliance matters
Advising on complex tax matters including Div 7A, S100A, GST, and ATO audits
Reviewing and lodging financial statements, income tax returns and GST obligations for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSF's
Liaising directly with clients and government agencies on behalf of the firm
Leading, mentoring, and developing junior and intermediate staff
Skills & Experience
CA, CPA or IPA qualified
6+ years of local business services and tax experience
Demonstrated experience managing a client fee portfolio
Proven ability to lead and mentor staff
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to own senior client relationships
A genuine advisory focus - Virtual CFO, valuations, restructuring, and audit engagements
Full CA/CPA support (technical guidance and financial assistance)
