Experienced Motor Mechanic – Salary Position with Bonus Incentives

Express Lube is growing, and we’re looking for a full-time, qualified motor mechanic to join the crew.

We’re a service-focused company but we also take on mechanical repairs, brakes, suspension and general repairs. We take pride in doing things properly, running an organised workshop, and still enjoying a bit of banter along the way.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Working alongside an experienced team
- Following clear systems, procedures and quality control
- Being part of a team that backs each other
- Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and mechanical components
- Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems and related components for inspection
- Repairing and replacing worn or defective parts, and reassembling mechanical components
- Performing scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication,



and engine tune-ups to ensure optimal vehicle performance and compliance with emission standards
- Reassembling engines and vehicle components following repair work
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts to ensure proper performance and reliability
- Diagnosing and testing vehicle systems using diagnostic equipment and computer-based tools
- Inspecting vehicles and identifying any work required to meet roadworthiness standards
