About the Role

Set in the leafy streets of Spring Hill, just a stone's throw from Brisbane's CBD and Fortitude Valley, Kennigo Hotel strikes the balance between homely comfort and cosmopolitan flair, and our Food & Beverage team brings that to life every day.

We're looking for F&B; Attendants to join the team across the Kennigo Espresso Bar, our Social House Restaurant and Bar, and our conference and events catering, helping deliver everything from a morning coffee to an evening meal or a boardroom lunch. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in warm, attentive service.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver friendly, productive food and beverage service across the café, restaurant, bar and conference spaces.
- Take orders, serve food and beverages, and process payments accurately using the point‑of‑sale system.
- Set up, service,



and clear tables and function spaces in line with service standards and event requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation across all food and beverage areas, in line with hotel and hygiene standards.
- Respond to guest requests and queries promptly and professionally, escalating where needed.
- Assist with stock control, replenishment, and general venue upkeep.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, conference & events, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WH&S; procedures at all times.

What You'll Bring

- Experience in food and beverage service within a hotel, café, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
- A friendly, guest‑focused approach with genuine pride in good service.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable multi‑tasking across a variety of service styles, from casual café to conference catering.
- Strong attention to detail and presentation.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
