About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Team Leader to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will supervise crews on-site while actively participating in construction works.

You will deliver projects ranging from minor works through to major civil infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality and compliance with Sydney Water and WSC requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise civil crews' active construction sites

Deliver projects form minor works to major works

Read and interpret construction plans and drawings

Pipe laying - sewer, water & stormwater





Installation, maintenances chambers & rebuild of manholes (MH)

Set out works using lasers and levelling equipment

Operate excavators and associated plant

Coordinate daily works and manage site productivity

Liaise with Sydney Water inspectors and WSC representatives

Maintain WHS compliance and quality standards

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Civil Team Leader

Minimum 3-5 years of Civil Team Leader experience required

Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans

Extensive pipe laying experience (sewer, water & Stormwater)

MH construction and rebuild experience

Excavator operator experience

Experience delivering works from minor works to major civil projects

Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on

Solid communication and problem-solving skills

Experience working with Sydney Water Standards and inspections

Licenses & Tickets (Essential)

Current Driver's License

HR License (Required)

White Card (Construction Induction Card)

Confined Space Entry Ticket

Excavator tickets (preferred)
