Infection Control & Prevention Clinical Nurse Specialist

Toronto Private Hospital is seeking an experienced permanent part-time Infection prevention and control clinical nurse specialist, working 1 day per week. The role can be adaptable with hours and preferred day.

Toronto Private Hospital is a part of the Aurora Health Care Group and is a 105 bed private hospital located on the western side of Lake Macquarie, 30 minutes from Gosford, Maitland and Newcastle. The hospital is a 105 bed facility, with inpatient rehabilitation, medical, palliative and mental health, plus outpatient services.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- Strong leadership and decision making skills
- At least 5 years clinical experience Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- A sound knowledge of local networks, facilities and service providers
- Experience working in infection prevention and control
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

- Motivated and energetic team player.
- Experience in staff health and vaccinations
