Kinimbla Enterprises is seeking an experienced and reliable HR Water Truck / 10m Tipper Truck Driver to join our team on a casual basis, working across civil construction projects on the Sunshine Coast & Moreton Bay regions
The successful applicant will be required to operate any of the following vehicles depending on operational requirements:
Applicants must be confident and competent operating heavy vehicles and be able to adapt to different truck configurations as required.
Current HR Driver Licence with Road Ranger (constant mesh) gearbox experience.
Current Construction Industry White Card.
Minimum 2 years' experience operating water trucks and tipper trucks within the civil construction industry.
Experience watering haul roads and maintaining moisture content for earthworks.
Experience working alongside graders during gravel pavement construction and maintenance.
Sound understanding of safe work practices on civil construction sites.
Ability to complete site inductions and comply with digital sign-in requirements using a mobile phone.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Positive attitude with a robust work ethic.
Casual position.
Monday to Friday availability is essential.
Saturday work may be required from time to time.
Work is based throughout the Sunshine Coast region.
Due to the weather-dependent nature of civil construction, weekly hours will vary.
This position would ideally suit a semi-retired operator or someone seeking flexible, casual employment rather than guaranteed full-time hours.
Pay
$35.00 per hour, plus applicable penalty rates.
Employees will be paid for hours worked on site.
Employees will be paid one (1) hour of travel time per day when working on projects located within the Sunshine Coast region. For projects located within the Moreton Bay Region, additional travel time will be paid, based on the project location.
