Northern Beaches Rehabilitation is seeking a Junior Physiotherapist to join our growing team at a Private Hospital in Terrey Hills, NSW. This is an exciting full-time chance designed for newly qualified physiotherapists or those early in their career who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient acute care and rehabilitation services. The caseload is predominantly neurosurgical and orthopaedic conditions. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to help patients recover, regain mobility and achieve their health goals through evidence-based physiotherapy practice. You will work within a supportive, collaborative setting where you can develop your clinical skills, build your professional confidence and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and creating individualised treatment plans for patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological and post-operative conditions
- Delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy and functional rehabilitation
- Monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly and maintaining detailed clinical records
- Providing patient education and advice on exercise programmes, injury prevention and self-management strategies
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals including doctors, occupational therapists and other allied health practitioners
- Contributing to a positive and professional clinical environment by maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and patient care
- Participating in team meetings and engaging in continuing professional development activities
- Supporting the smooth operation of the clinic by managing appointments, equipment and facilities as required
What we're looking for
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a physiotherapist
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification
- Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and evidence-based physiotherapy principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to patients in an accessible manner
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinic environment
- Professional and compassionate approach to patient care with genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes
- Physical capability to perform manual therapy techniques and assist patients with movement and positioning
- Willingness to learn, seek feedback and engage in professional development
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience with electronic health record systems is desirable but not essential
