The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Lawyer to join our respected Plaintiff Personal Injury team in our Sydney CBD office. This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner who is passionate about advancing the rights of vulnerable clients and achieving meaningful outcomes for survivors of abuse.

Approximately 60% of this role will involve acting for clients in institutional abuse matters, with the remainder focusing on a range of personal injury matters. You will work closely with highly experienced practitioners on complex, sensitive and rewarding cases, while developing your career in a supportive and collaborative workplace.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Direct liaison with clients and providing accurate and timely advice
- Preparing Court documents/orders and general correspondence
- Managing high volume files and matters with occasional supervision
- Attending court,



dispute resolution and settlements
- Legal research

Successful candidates will have:

- A valid NSW Practising Certificate
- A minimum of 2–5 years PQE, ideally with experience in plaintiff personal injury and institutional abuse.
- An understanding of the legislative and procedural framework relating to abuse and personal injury claims
- Exceptional client care skills, with the ability to engage empathetically and sensitively with clients
- Strong negotiation, mediation and advocacy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment
