Independent Living Specialists (ILS) is one of Australia’s largest healthcare equipment providers. With 60 showrooms, 15 warehouses, and 700+ staff across four states (and growing), we are recognised for our leadership in solutions, innovation, and quality service across showrooms, home care, hospital & pressure care, and configured mobility.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Showroom Team Lead - Sydney Metro to lead the performance of our Sydney Metro showroom network.

This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, market share, and customer outcomes across multiple showrooms. Reporting to the General Manager – NSW & ACT, you will coach and develop the team to independently operate high-performing businesses while identifying opportunities to strengthen commercial performance across the network.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Leading the commercial performance of the Sydney Metro showroom network
- Driving revenue growth, contribution margin, profitability, and market share across multiple locations
- Analysing showroom performance, identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities
- Coaching and developing Showroom Managers to enhance leadership capability and commercial outcomes
- Conducting regular business reviews and implementing targeted performance improvement plans
- Driving growth across Retail, NDIS, DVA, Aged Care, and State Government funding streams
- Monitoring sales performance, customer conversion, product mix, and payor growth opportunities
- Partnering with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to optimise inventory performance and stock availability
- Driving a consistent and exceptional customer experience across the showroom network
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver business objectives and operational excellence
- Promoting a culture of accountability,



ownership, and continuous improvement
- Ensuring compliance with WHS, Quality Management System (QMS), and organisational standards

About You

You are a commercially focused and strategic leader with a proven ability to develop high-performing teams and drive results across multiple locations.

- Proven experience leading multi-site retail, operational, or commercial teams
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance data and drive business growth
- Demonstrated success delivering revenue, profitability, and customer experience outcomes
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to influence, motivate, and hold leaders accountable for performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- The ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on support and execution
- A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

- 3–5 years' experience in multi-site retail, commercial, or operational leadership
- Experience coaching and developing leaders to operate independently and deliver commercial outcomes
- Experience within healthcare, assistive technology, rehabilitation, medical devices, or a related industry
- Knowledge of NDIS, Aged Care, DVA, or healthcare funding environments will be highly regarded
