A fantastic chance has become available for an experienced Paralegal to join the Insurance & Health team of a highly regarded national law firm in Brisbane.

Working alongside leading insurance practitioners, you'll become involved in a diverse mix of personal injury and liability matters, including catastrophic injury claims, dependency claims, overseas injury matters, claims involving minors, assault and institutional abuse matters.

Whether your background is in defendant or plaintiff insurance litigation, this role offers the chance to broaden your experience while working on sophisticated and often complex files.

The Role

This is a hands‑on Paralegal position where you'll work closely with senior lawyers across all stages of litigation. Please note this role is not suited to law students or graduates. Our client is seeking to hire a Career Paralegal.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing files from commencement through to resolution
- Drafting legal correspondence and court documents
- Preparing briefs and supporting litigation strategy
- Liaising with clients, experts and insurers




- Managing precedents and practice management systems
- Billing and file administration

About You

You’ll ideally bring:

- Previous Paralegal experience within insurance litigation
- Experience from either a defendant or plaintiff practice
- Confidence working with billing and practice management systems
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive approach and genuine desire to continue developing your career
