We pride ourselves on delivering practical legal advice, building strong client relationships and providing junior lawyers with genuine mentoring and long-term career development opportunities.

About the Role

Our practice continues to grow and maintains a busy and diverse workload. This role offers varied and challenging work, together with genuine opportunities for growth and career progression within our firm.

You will be exposed to a broad range of engaging and quick-paced matters, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting Partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of commercial litigation and transactional matters;
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, contracts and other legal documents;
- Conducting legal research and preparing advice;
- Attending court, mediations, conferences and client meetings;
- Liaising with clients, counsel, experts and other solicitors;
- Managing files and progressing matters under supervision,

with increasing autonomy as your experience develops; and
- Assisting with business development and maintaining strong client relationships.

What We Offer

- Mentorship, structured training and ongoing guidance from experienced Partners and senior lawyers.
- A collaborative and supportive working environment.
- A positive, professional and social workplace culture.
- Direct client contact and meaningful responsibility from an early stage of your career.
- Genuine opportunities for career progression and professional development.
- Competitive remuneration for the right candidate.

About You

The successful candidate will be reliable, personable and highly organised. Following an initial period of training and supervision, you will be expected to progressively manage your own matters with increasing autonomy.

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Be admitted as a solicitor in NSW, have completed your Practical Legal Training (PLT), or be a recent law graduate.
- Have up to three years' post-admission experience (or be a graduate).
- Have a strong academic record. A background in finance or accounting is highly preferable but not essential.
- Have a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn.
- Be willing to take direction and constructive feedback.
- Have exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Have advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills. Experience with LEAP is highly desirable.
- Have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Be willing to assist others and contribute positively to our team culture.

If you are looking to build your legal career in a respected boutique commercial law firm where you will receive genuine mentoring, early responsibility and exposure to quality legal work, we would love to hear from you.

Applications close on 19th August 2026. Early applications are encouraged as interviews may be conducted before the closing date, and the position may be filled prior to the closing date.
