Tas Trucks is offering a unique opportunity for a qualified tradesperson to undertake a second trade apprenticeship and gain qualifications in either Heavy Diesel Technology or Mobile Plant Technology.

Whether your background is automotive, agricultural, fabrication, fitting and machining, plant mechanics, or another related trade, this is your chance to build on your existing skills and establish a long-term career in the heavy vehicle and equipment industry.

About the Role

Based at our Youngtown workshop, you'll work alongside experienced technicians while completing your second trade qualification. You'll gain hands‑on experience servicing and repairing:

- Heavy trucks and commercial vehicles

- Construction equipment

- Material handling equipment

- Hydraulic and electrical systems

- Engines, drivetrains, brakes and suspension systems

This is a full-time position with long-term career opportunities for the right person.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in hearing from qualified tradespeople who:

- Hold a recognised trade qualification.





- Are keen to undertake a second trade in Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant Technology.

- Take pride in producing quality work.

- Have a positive attitude and work well in a team workplace.

- Are committed to workplace safety.

- Hold a current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous but not essential).
