About Us

We are a fun-loving, passionate, and diverse team located in the historic 88 Limestone Precinct in Ipswich CBD. At Kids at Play Therapy Services, we pride ourselves on supporting staff to be the best clinicians they can be by providing:

Paid external supervision with a primary and secondary supervisor of your choice.

Internal supervision with the Clinic Director and access to them daily (we work onsite with you daily).

Generous professional development leave and budget for external PD.

Over 70 hours of professional development opportunities within the clinic, including Journal Clubs, PD evenings, supervision, and fortnightly sessions with internal and external presenters (including Paediatricians and Psychiatrists and other experts)

Low billable hours.

Full administrative support, including booking appointments, liaising with clients, filing, and resource preparation.

Our location within the CBD of Ipswich, complete with the Stony Creek Brewing Company (previously Pumpyard) onsite,

What You’ll Love About This Position

Salary starts from $80,000 for provisional psychologists and $105,000 for registered psychologists, with additional benefits like paid external supervision, professional membership fees, professional development allowances, and leave entitlements.

Qualifications & Experience

Current provisional registration with APHRA, including 4+1 internship or 5+1 internship.

Current general or clinical registration with APHRA.

Current Blue Card and Criminal History Check.

Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or higher recognized for registration with APHRA for provisional registration.
