Greenhalgh Pickard is a long-established legal and accounting firm based on the Sunshine Coast. We are looking for a capable and commercially minded lawyer to join our team and take ownership of a high-quality and genuinely interesting file load.

About the role

You will manage a varied and engaging practice, including:

Commercial conveyancing and complex/high-value residential matters, from contract through to settlement

Commercial and retail shop leasing, acting for both landlords and tenants, including drafting, negotiation, renewals and disputes

Property development matters, including off-the-plan sales, community titles schemes, subdivisions and disclosure documentation

Joint ventures, loan agreements, solicitor’s certificates, business sales, and broader commercial advisory work flowing from the above

This is a hands-on role with real responsibility, client contact, and the opportunity to deepen your expertise across commercial and property law.

About you

We are seeking someone who:





Holds a current Queensland practising certificate (1-3years PQE preferred, but flexible for the right person)

Has solid experience in commercial conveyancing, leasing and/or property development, or strong experience in one or two of these areas with the capability and motivation to develop further

Is comfortable using technology, including PEXA and modern practice management systems (Actionstep experience preferred but not essential), along with solid Microsoft Office skills

Uses technology and AI thoughtfully to improve efficiency and quality of work

Communicates clearly in plain English and brings a commercial, solutions-focused mindset

Can manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure without compromising accuracy

Enjoys the work and is looking to build a long-term career in commercial and property law
