Responsibilities

- Prepare authentic dishes with consistent taste and quality.
- Plan and cook menu items following restaurant recipes and standards.
- Ensure food is prepared safely and hygienically at all times.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Manage kitchen inventory and reduce food waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow food safety and health regulations.




- Assist in creating new dishes and seasonal menu ideas when required.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of the cuisine and speciality food of India.
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid teamwork and communication skills.
- Passion for cooking and delivering excellent food quality.
- Relevant culinary qualification is an advantage.
- Experience working in Australia or overseas is a plus but not mandatory.
