Family‑owned and operated for over 25 years, we’re part of a network of 14 Helloworld stores across Queensland—offering the support of a major brand with the feel of a close‑knit team and community of travel.

About the Role & Key Responsibilities

- Handling new enquiries, itinerary planning, changes, and quotes
- Booking flights, tours, cruises, packages, insurance and more
- Managing supplier communication, payments, and documentation
- Building and maintaining long‑term client relationships
- Confidently cross‑selling and upselling travel options
- Providing excellent customer service at every touchpoint

Skills

Experienced Travel Consultant

Skills & Qualifications

- Leisure travel consultant experience, ideally in a retail store environment
- Amadeus GDS preferred or strong airfare knowledge (not essential)
- Good office skills




- Customer service skills, ideally in‑person and over the phone
- Strong airfare knowledge
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Non‑Experienced Candidates are encouraged to apply

- Preferred sales skills and qualifications suitable
- Experience in high‑performing sales roles (retail, real estate, hospitality, call centre, B2B, etc.)
- Proven conversion results in a fast‑paced environment
- Confidence, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn, be coached, and grow within the travel industry
