INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT - INNER NORTHERN BRISBANE SUBURB - MULTI-OFFICE FIRM (Job ID 827)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded Queensland qualified services firm recognised for its strong technical capability and genuine client-first approach.
The firm provides tax, accounting, advisory, audit and financial planning services to a diverse portfolio of clients including SMEs, family groups, Agri businesses and larger corporate entities. Their inner-north Brisbane office offers convenient access to bus, train and Gateway arterial links, while maintaining a collaborative and supportive team environment.

The Role:

- Work closely with Senior Accountants and Managers to deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Preparing BAS and assisting with GST matters
- Supporting tax planning and business advisory engagements
- Liaising with clients via phone and email
- Assisting with client relationship management
- Continuing to build your technical knowledge and professional capability

About You:

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business
- Have 2-3+ years' experience in Australian public practice




- Have hands-on experience with companies, trusts and individual clients
- Possess a solid understanding of tax compliance obligations
- Be studying towards (or intending to commence) CA or CPA
- Be proficient in Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software
- Demonstrate robust attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Thrive in a team-focused environment
- Exposure to QBCC matters will be advantageous but is not essential.
