Base salary $90,000 – $100,000 + superannuation. Location: Sydney CBD. 12-month fixed term contract (parental leave cover). Hybrid working model with WFH flexibility. Opportunity to contribute across both operational and project‑based HR initiatives.
This role supports leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with the Head of People, Culture & Capability you will provide HR advice, coordinate recruitment, support employee relations, contribute to culture and engagement initiatives, and lead continuous improvement projects and reporting.
Duties
- Provide timely and practical HR advice to leaders and employees
- Support performance, development and employee engagement initiatives
- Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Prepare employment contracts, variations and HR documentation
- Assist with employee relations matters, investigations and case management
- Maintain HR systems, employee records and reporting dashboards
- Coordinate probation reviews, onboarding tasks and exit processes
- Contribute to wellbeing, recognition and diversity initiatives
- Review and improve People & Culture policies, procedures and processes
- Partner with stakeholders to support capability development programs
Skills & Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline
- Previous experience in a People Culture & Capability, HR Advisor or similar role
- Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Experience managing recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience using HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation
- Previous exposure to HR reporting and data analysis highly regarded
