As a global leader in electrification, automation and digitalisation, we’re looking for an exceptional commercial leader to join us as the Segment Leader – Heavy Industries (Mining, Minerals, Metals & Oil & Gas) to lead the growth and development of one of our key market segments across the Pacific Zone. Location: Perth preferred, with flexibility to consider candidates located in Queensland, South Australia, Melbourne or Sydney.
Responsibilities
- Lead sustainable revenue growth, profitability and market share across all Schneider Electric business lines.
- Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies aligned with customer needs and market opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and strategic customers, positioning Schneider Electric as their partner of choice.
- Identify recent business opportunities, develop strategic accounts and accelerate long‑term growth.
- Drive collaboration across sales, marketing, services and partner ecosystems to deliver integrated customer solutions.
- Monitor pipeline performance, forecast opportunities and ensure strong CRM discipline.
- Act as a market thought leader, promoting Schneider Electric's digital, software, services and sustainability solutions.
- Coach and enable sales teams to build capability, strengthen customer engagement and deliver outstanding commercial outcomes.
- Contribute to strategic planning, business development initiatives and annual sales and marketing plans.
Qualifications
- Experienced commercial leader with deep knowledge of the Mining, Minerals, Metals & Oil & Gas industry.
- Extensive experience leading commercial growth, strategic account management or business development within a complex B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of solution selling across technology, energy, infrastructure, automation, industrial or commercial markets.
- Proven ability to engage and influence C‑suite stakeholders and senior decision‑makers.
- Experience developing and executing commercial strategies that deliver measurable business growth.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing revenue, pipeline and business performance.
- A degree in Engineering, Technology, Business or a related discipline is highly regarded.
