About the role
RSM contains a fully accredited Financial Planning practice that devises practical solutions to help clients achieve their goals. This position provides a newly graduated student the opportunity to join a team of experts and commence a career in Financial Planning.
This is an entry level position with a strong focus on learning and development and assisting the division. You will join a growing team with a view towards full qualification over time. The role is set to start in January 2027.
Responsibilities
- Learning the relevant legislation, financial planning standards and industry practices.
- Assisting in the preparation of investment advice documents for clients.
- Supporting financial advisers with general client administration and processes.
- Supporting financial advisers in the implementation of investment recommendations.
Qualifications
Education requirements – Essential: Completed a Business / Finance / Commerce degree by December 2026 or earlier; Major in Financial Planning or demonstrated interest.
Experience & attributes
- Essential: Strong communication skills.
- Essential: Strong attention to detail.
- Essential: Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
