We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. Based in our brand-new Shellharbour City centre office, this part‑time opportunity offers flexibility, a professional and supportive environment, and the chance to contribute to a well‑established agency delivering workforce solutions to major clients across the Illawarra.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Payroll Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth weekly payroll processing and compliance for our on‑hired employee workforce. You’ll also maintain accurate employee records and manage compliance requirements across client online systems.





This role would suit someone who is highly organised, detail‑focused and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Preparing and processing weekly payroll using our payroll system Astute
- Maintaining employee records, certifications, and induction information
- Managing compliance requirements in client online portals for on‑hired employees
- Supporting payroll reporting and administrative duties as required

ABOUT YOU

- Experience processing payroll for a mixed workforce, including casual PAYG employees and ABN contractors
- Experience with Astute (or similar payroll/HRIS systems) is highly regarded
- Available to work part‑time hours
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Highly organised with a proactive approach
