An exceptional opportunity exists for a Staff Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join the team at Alice Springs Hospital , delivering specialist care across one of Australia's most unique and rewarding healthcare environments.

The Hospital Alice Springs Hospital is a 183-bed teaching hospital and the major referral centre for Central Australia, providing specialist services across a catchment of more than one million square kilometres.

The Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department Offers

- Approximately 700 births annually
- Comprehensive obstetric and general gynaecology services
- Outreach clinics to remote communities via charter aircraft and road
- Strong focus on Indigenous and remote healthcare
- Collaborative links with Royal Darwin Hospital, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre and Tennant Creek Hospital
- Teaching opportunities with Flinders University

You'll manage a diverse and highly rewarding clinical workload, caring for women with complex medical conditions including diabetes, renal disease, rheumatic heart disease and infectious diseases, while helping improve health outcomes for Aboriginal communities across Central Australia.

Total remuneration package from $249,959 to $305,454 per annum , including:

Requirements Applicants Should Meet One Of The Following

- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) with Specialist Registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA
- Australian or New Zealand trainees nearing Fellowship are encouraged to enquire
- UK CCT holders eligible for the RANZCOG Specialist Pathway
- International Medical Graduates assessed by RANZCOG as Substantially Comparable
- Specialists currently progressing through the RANZCOG Specialist Pathway are encouraged to apply
