The Role
/n
We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred clinical care to our residents.
/n
Working closely with the Facility Manager, Clinical Care Coordinator, Care Managers and care team, you will play a key role in supporting positive health outcomes by leading the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care.
/n
You will use your clinical expertise to ensure residents receive safe, respectful and individualised care while supporting and mentoring the wider care team.
/n
Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with resident care plans, legislation and best practice standards.
/n
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate clinical care using a holistic approach.
/n
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to care staff.
/n
- Manage and administer medications safely and effectively.
/n
- Monitor residents' health outcomes and elevate clinical concerns appropriately.
/n
- Support residents living with complex health needs, including dementia,
pain management and palliative care.
/n
- Build strong relationships with residents and families, ensuring they are informed and involved in care decisions.
/n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
/n
- Participate in accreditation, infection control and workplace health and safety programs.
/n/n
What We're Looking For
/n
/n
- Registered Nurse Division 1 qualification.
/n
- Current AHPRA registration and practising certificate.
/n
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
/n
- Experience providing care within residential aged care or a similar environment.
/n
- Ability to mentor and support care staff.
/n
- Experience supporting people living with dementia (preferred).
/n
- Experience in pain management and palliative care (desirable).
/n/n
