Additional Information:
- This role is permanent, part‑time 60 hours per fortnight.
- The shift times required to work will be spread between 08:00am to 10:00pm.
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts and be available to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
About this work area
As Product Recovery & Quality Co‑worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Engaging and assisting customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
- Presenting IKEA products in As‑Is Shopfloor using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store.
- Taking necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging them back into a saleable condition.
- Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality.
- Supporting the quality work in the store to constantly improve customers’ quality perception of IKEA products.
- Always considering the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products.
- Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that cultivates a strong understanding of product recovery, quality and compliance processes.
- Maintaining a protected and secure environment within the IKEA store, always ensuring the well‑being of both customers and co‑workers.
Requirements

- Experience with regular use of computers and IT systems.

- A safety mindset and comfort with physical work and manual handling including repetitive lifting.
