Our Visitor program aims to reduce loneliness and isolation experienced by older Australians. You can help by offering your time and talents to an elderly lady in Ormeau.

The role

If you can give up an hour of your time each week to visit with this elderly lady in her home in Ormeau, we’d love to hear from you. The visits are relaxed, involving conversation about interests such as office work, drumming, tennis and darts. She enjoys a cuppa and a chat and having positive social connection. We provide all the support you require. Visits will be on Wednesday mornings.

Requirements & Training

- Commit to at least one hour of visit each week.
- Attend required online training and any other WHS training.
- Participate in regular visits as scheduled.
- Must be available on Wednesdays.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
