We are entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking to welcome a passionate Casual Sales Consultant to our Paddington team.

The Role

As a Casual Sales Consultant at Temple of the Sun, you will be the heart of the in-store experience — warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely present with every customer who walks through our door. You bring a deep appreciation for jewellery and the luxury retail space, and you understand instinctively how to make a customer feel at ease, inspired, and connected to the pieces in front of them.

You will share the story behind our collections with confidence and authenticity, contributing to a sales environment where service is never transactional — it is always personal.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

- Deliver a consistently high-level, personalised service experience aligned with the Temple of the Sun brand.
- Build genuine rapport with every customer, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and inspired.
- Share the story, craftsmanship, and meaning behind our collections with confidence and passion.




- Contribute to long-term customer relationships that reflect the warmth and integrity of our brand.

Sales & Brand Representation

- Support the achievement of individual and store sales targets through exceptional, relationship-driven service.
- Present product knowledge with storytelling, confidence, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Uphold visual merchandising and brand presentation standards at all times.

Store Operations

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with stock handling, replenishment, and general store upkeep.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and a beautiful store workplace.
- Please note the roster will include weekend and public holiday work.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Experience in jewellery retail is essential. We will also consider candidates with a background in a premium or luxury retail setting who bring a genuine passion for the category.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing role within jewellery or the broader luxury industry.
- A polished, warm, and confident presence on the sales floor.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read the room — adapting your tone and approach to each individual customer.
- A genuine appreciation for craftsmanship,



design, and the meaning behind the pieces you represent.
- Availability to work casual shifts, including weekends and peak trade periods.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable and considered a significant advantage.
