JC Assist is seeking reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Commercial & Residential Cleaners to join our growing team. We provide cleaning, decluttering, organising, and home support services to NDIS participants, older Australians, and members of the wider community.

Role Responsibilities

As a Cleaner with JC Assist, your duties may include:

- General residential and commercial cleaning
- Deep cleaning and end of lease style cleaning tasks
- Kitchen, bathroom, and living area cleaning
- Laundry and household assistance
- Decluttering and home organisation support
- Assisting clients to create secure and functional living spaces
- Supporting clients experiencing overwhelm, hoarding behaviours, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges with dignity and respect
- Maintaining high cleaning standards and attention to detail

✔ Working with clients experiencing mental health challenges

✔ Supporting clients through overwhelming situations with kindness, patience, and empathy

Many of our clients require gentle encouragement and practical support to regain control of their living spaces. The ability to build trust and assist people respectfully through these situations is highly valued.

✔ Essential Requirements

Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Current National Police Check

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

Reliable vehicle and own transportation

Smartphone with internet access

Strong communication skills

Professional and reliable work ethic

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

min of 3 consistent days availability per week

Preferred (But Not Essential)

- Previous residential or commercial cleaning experience
- Experience working within the NDIS, aged care, or community services sectors
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Experience with decluttering and home organisation
- Understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred practices
