What You Will Do
Our Heavy Vehicle Mechanics have the opportunity to work on Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, Mack and UD Trucks, some of Australia's most innovative transport brands. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing and maintenance on trucks and buses, in line with Volvo Group's standards.
Responsibilities
Steering and suspension repairs
Electrical faults, diagnosis and repairs
Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
Component overhauls
Driveline repairs
Preventative maintenance services and repairs
Offsite and breakdown repairs
Who are you?
A Heavy Vehicle mechanical qualification
Experience working with Volvo, Mack, UD or other European truck or bus brands is highly regarded
Some exposure to light auto‑electrical work
A pro‑active attitude with a drive to work efficiently
A positive safety attitude with a team‑focused mindset
