Job Type: Contract Position (full‐time, 38 hours per week).
Salary: $124,274 – $128,302 per year (plus 12% superannuation, salary packaging).
Overview
Shape the future of nursing practice in a brand‐new Acute Medicine‐Renal inpatient unit. Deliver high‐quality, patient‐centred care while leading education, coaching and mentorship initiatives that advance nursing capability and confidence.
Responsibilities
Develop, deliver and evaluate education programmes that enhance clinical practice and qualified growth.
Identify learning needs and implement evidence‐based education strategies to improve patient outcomes.
Provide coaching, mentoring and support to nurses at all career stages.
Champion evidence‐based practice, clinical standards and continuous quality improvement across the unit.
Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive learning culture.
Qualifications & Experience
Registered Nurse (current Authority to Practice with AHPRA).
Demonstrated experience in acute medical and/or renal nursing.
Post‐graduate qualification in clinical nursing, education or a relevant field (preferred).
Strong ability to design, deliver and evaluate education initiatives.
Excellent organisational, time‐management and communication skills.

Ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Essential Requirements
Current influenza vaccination mandatory.
Compliance with NSW Health vaccination and screening requirements.
