About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire practitioner to join our Sydney-based delivery team.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role embedded within a large-scale Guidewire Cloud implementation programme covering PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), and ClaimCenter (CC).
The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of delivery, technical excellence, and client engagement, bringing both deep Guidewire expertise and an AI-forward mindset to drive programme outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and enhance Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions in line with business requirements, technical standards, and delivery priorities.
Develop and maintain Guidewire PCF pages that support accurate functionality, usability, and a consistent user experience.
Ensure knowledge content remains accurate, current, and relevant through effective document maintenance and governance.
Develop and maintain code that supports page layout, positioning, styling, and sizing requirements.
Translate approved design concepts into reliable, browser-based application pages.
Plan and execute comprehensive testing activities to validate quality, performance, and functional outcomes.
Support module decommissioning activities with appropriate planning, precision, and governance.
Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to identify issues, recommend improvements, and implement effective solutions aligned to business needs.
Required Technical Skills And Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration, integration including Integration Gateway and development.
Relevant professional experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration or integration within a claims technology environment.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent professional experience.
Experience with Guidewire PCF pages, business rules, configuration, testing, and defect resolution.
Working knowledge of Gosu, Guidewire Studio, REST APIs, SQL, Git, CI/CD practices, and Agile or SAFe delivery methods.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute effectively within a collaborative delivery team.
Preferred Skills
Experience in property and casualty insurance claims environments.
Knowledge of commercial and personal auto insurance is preferred.
Experience with cloud services, monitoring and observability tools, and modern front-end frameworks.
Familiarity with AI prompt engineering and agentic solutions.
Guidewire Cloud InsuranceSuite Professional Developer certification is preferred.
