About the role:
The firm is seeking bright and dedicated solicitors with 1-6+ years PQE to join its ever-growing employment practice.
You will be responsible for:
Advising on a wide variety of advisory, contentious and strategic workplace matters, including in employment law, discrimination law and whistleblowing
Preparing documents for and attending proceedings in the Fair Work Commission and the Australian Human Rights Commission
Drafting Federal Court and Federal Circuit Court documents,
including affidavits, concise statements, witness statements, and interlocutory applications
Working with and instructing counsel for matters running to the Federal Court and Federal Circuit Court
Providing day-to-day advice for employer clients
Advising high net worth clients regarding their employment law issues
Drafting letters of demands, without prejudice letters, and other related legal documents
Conducting legal research into the latest updates in employment and discrimination law
The ideal candidate:
1-6+ years PQE in employment law or commercial litigation
Strong litigators who want to transition into employment law are encouraged to apply
Confident and able to communicate with clients
Wants ownership of their work and advice
Interested in developing their career in employment law
