Responsibilities
Partner with marketing colleagues to provide scientific and new product development expertise to launch compliant products across Asia Pacific and China.
New Concept & Innovation: Develop and deliver new product concepts across brands and markets (Asia Pacific & China). Prioritize opportunities with marketing and refine concepts. Provide scientific input into product positioning and communication. Stay abreast of global trends to drive innovation.
Product Development: Create evidence-based formulations within regional regulatory requirements. Assess product feasibility (format, ingredients, claims) to ensure commercial viability. Recommend claims and indications in line with regulations. Manage products through development processes to meet timelines. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers. Support regulatory documentation and scientific files.
Product Safety & Scientific Support: Respond to technical and scientific queries.



Prepare safety assessments and compliance documentation. Support safety-related activities and issue management.
Scientific Affairs & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop scientific resources, training, and education materials. Engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and external stakeholders. Represent the business at industry events where required.
Promotional Compliance: Ensure promotional materials meet regulatory requirements. Advise marketing on compliant advertising and claims. Review content for accuracy and scientific alignment.
Location & Work Arrangement
Full time, in-office role based in Warriewood on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Skills and Experiences
Fluent in Mandarin is essential.
Ability to communicate cross-functionally with different departments and levels of expertise.
Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and critically analysing scientific research.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines from TGA, FSANZ, Medical Device, OTC, cosmetic and other FMCG sectors.
Naturopath, nutritionist, or other qualified healthcare professional with evidence-based medicine knowledge is preferred.
Can-do attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, ownership mindset, team player, and strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
